I have been using Shottenkirk for the past seven years for the maintenance and service of my 2005 Silverado. Rick Altgilbers and his first rate service is what kept me going back. It is because of Ricks professional service that I gave Shottenkirk preferential treatment when I traded in my (283,000 mile) truck. Richard Santiago and Shannon Smith (auto sales) continued on with the same professional service I have come accustomed to. Shannon and Santi were great to work with . I never felt pressured, both listened, neither tried to over hype the sale, and both communicated with me in a manner that allowed us to get the deal done. Ask for Shannon or Richard (Santi) if you are wanting to purchase a new vehicle.
Recently bought a new truck from Corey and was floored with the service and respect I received from this dealership. Corey was a sharp guy that new his product and you could tell he was passionate about what he did. I had every intention of shopping around but he made me feel like I was home. This will be the first and last dealership I visit for any of my vehicles. I could see the foundation in my salespersons skills when I met his manager (Mike?) Who was equally passionate and skilled. The employees that woked with me were great. They worked hard to find for me, what I was looking for. They showed me options that fit my strict budget and within a month found for me the vehicle I was looking for. In my opinion, the internet team at Shottenkirk has a very good new car purchasing process. They responded to my initial internet inquiry promptly, in the manner that I requested, and answered the specific questions that I asked. Other dealers that I contacted via the internet had customer service people respond to try and set up appointments instead of answering my questions the way I asked them to. I really liked the way they transitioned from internet communication to the personal contact at the dealership...except for the also plesant experience with Ken England on the paper work, I dealt with Gillon and Adam from the first email until I drove my new vehicle off the lot.
We trusted them that they would give us a good deal. They did not pressure us to buy something we didn't want. They spent allot of time with us while we were trying to come up with a car that would suit our needs. We will go back and deal with Gillon in the internet Department again when we want anything else.
